Profinet Development Training

SYBERA's PROFINET Training provides practical knowledge for developers, automation engineers, and users. PROFINET is a global standard for Industrial Ethernet, enabling open, scalable, and real-time communication between controllers and field devices. Participants learn how PROFINET RT and PROFINET IRT realize cyclic and acyclic communication for demanding automation tasks.

The training covers topology, protocol management, PROFINET services, GSDML device description, alarm handling and the configuration of PROFINET networks. Practical exercises with Wireshark analysis support participants in monitoring PROFINET traffic, diagnosing errors, and efficiently configuring network segments.

Participants learn the independent configuration and parameterization of PROFINET networks and acquire comprehensive know-how for use in production facilities. The training provides practical examples, explains cycle times, real-time capability, and synchronization for I/O and motion control applications, and prepares for typical challenges.

The course is aimed at developers, automation engineers, service staff, and users who want to integrate or introduce PROFINET into their systems. It is available as an on-site course, remote training, or in-house seminar and imparts structured knowledge combined with practical exercises within two days.

The training materials include detailed documentation and an example CD. Lunch and break beverages are included. Information on prices and accommodation can be found on the main page.

After completing the training, participants are able to reliably plan, implement, and operate PROFINET networks, with optimized real-time communication, synchronized segments, and professional diagnostics.
